"Not Broken Enough" Tour: Catch Your Breath, TX2, Arankai, Colorblind

Catch Your Breath brought their intensely immersive act to Showbox Sodo in Seattle as part of their "Not Broken Enough" tour on 10/28/2026. It was a night full of emotions, crowd surfing, and fan interactions. They've brought out bands TX2, Arankai, and Colorblind as openers for the entirety of the tour.
Colorblind was up first, they are a band formed in Austin, TX in 2017 and have been making a name for themselves ever since. I've seen Colorblind before and really enjoyed it, but it was at a very small venue, so I was interested to see how they handled a much bigger stage. 7pm rolls around and the lights went completely dark as they began with a rendition of their song "Ghosts." For the first part of the song, vocalist Travis Moseley was on stage by himself showcasing his unique vocals before being joined by the rest of the band. He has an impressive range, seamlessly switching between his normal more high pitched singing voice and his heavier screams. "Ghosts" was the only song they played that isn't off their 2026 debut album "WHO SOLD YOU THIS TRUTH++WAS IT YOURS TO HOLD." Some standout songs on the setlist for me were "Needle Eye," "Chemical Warfare," and "God Complex." At one point they called for crowd surfers, and while it took a minute, eventually there were dozens of crowd surfers making their way up. That along with the wall of death that occurred really set the tone for the night. The entire band was interactive with the crowd, Travis even went down to the barricade to sing with fans. It was a great start to the night and left me excited for what the next band would bring.
Arankai went next, a Wisconsin based band formed in 2022 by ex Archers member Oscar Portar. They just released their second album this week titled "The Shape of Blue." But at the Seattle show they were selling copies before the album had even come out, a cool oppurtunity for fans to hear it a bit early. As soon as Arankai began their energy was at 110% and remained high throughout the whole set. I'll admit that I wasn't a fan of their music when I listened to some of their older stuff before the show, but they put on such a fun performance that I gave the new album a listen on the way home and it's a huge improvement. They did a great job balancing an intense performance with some bouncy and silly moments too. The first five songs were off that new album like "Letdown," "Choke," and "I Hope It Hurts." They concluded with three songs off their 2025 album "A Portrait of Red." Similar to the previous act, they called for crowd surfers and Oscar went down to the barricade a few times. They were clearly a hit with the crowd and I can see how they earned their spot on this lineup.
Providing direct support was TX2, a band formed by tiktoker Evan Thomas. They have blown up online in the last few years which was reflected at the show as tons of people appeared to be there specifically for them. Their set was chaotic and entertaining with fans screaming every word. They played 11 songs including hits like "Black Wedding," "HOSTAGE," and "Witch Hunt." The highlights of their set for me was when the vocalist and guitar player went into the crowd to perform surrounded by the audience and when they pulled a fan up on stage to sing a song with them who did an incredible job. Their drummer als had an arm injury and yet still managed to play the whole set with one arm which was insanely impressive. They had a very fun stage presence and were clearly a crowd favorite. They have won over the hearts of many and are helping to inspire the newer generation of music fans to attend live shows, which I do love to see."
Finally it was time for Catch Your Breath and their set absolutely blew me away. It started with a atmospheric instrumental track before diving into more upbeat songs like "Contaminated" and "Richochet." It was a very chaotic photo pit with crowd surfers starting immediately at the start of the set. It was loud, full of snare bombs, and had some of the best lighting design I've ever . My favorite part of the set was definitely when they slowed things down a bit and played songs like "21 Gun Salute." This is where the set really felt the most immersive as they played beautiful interludes between songs that really tied everything together. It was insane how cool it sounded when they played audio of a storm before playing "Hollow Dreams" and you could continue to hear the sound of rain in the background throughout the song. That was probably one of my favorite things I have actually ever experienced at a concert. After that they picked things back up again with songs like "Red Alert" and "Dark" before ending with some of their biggest hits "Shame On Me" and "Dial Tone." It felt like we were transported to a whole different world for the 18 song set. I started the night as a casual fan and left the night adding songs to my daily playlist. Between the insane lighting setup, interludes, and fan interaction moments, these guys did an absolutely phenomenal job on this tour.
Overall this is a show I left wishing I could just replay it all again and regretting not going to see it in Portland the night before! There is still over a month left of the tour and if it is coming to a city near you I definitely recommend not missing it.
