On Saturday May third Foxy Shazam came to the Neurolux and put on a fun show. I was really excited for it, as I have been a fan of theirs for a long time and have never had the opportunity to see them live.

Unfortunately, due to some mix ups we missed the first opener Lobby Boxer. The second opener was The Number 12 Looks Like You. They were pretty heavy and fun. They definitely had some hard core fans in the audience, which is always fun to see. They interacted a lot with them as well which just made the whole thing even more enjoyable.

Foxy Shazam was what I expected, fun! The horn and the keyboard player really helped keep the energy up and fun and positive. Everyone in the audience could tell the lead singer was having some issues and that definitely impacted our enjoyment of the show. It seemed like he hated it and was a bit aggressive to some stage hands back stage. I love music, I love concerts, I love it less when things like this happen. Difficulties often arise in live performances and I have a ton of respect for people who handle it with respect and grace.

Overall the show was what I wanted it to be! Fun! We got some awesome shots of the band as well as some fun video. I would recommend seeing them if you ever get a chance!
