A night full of metalcore in the heart of Newcastle City Centre. From the very first act of the night, you could tell it was going to be one you would remember.

The venue was sold out for the 4 act show. Decapitated took the stage to a very full house at the beginning of the night and rocked the house. Many great sentiments from social media after the show read “Excellent show” & “Your set was sick” and I have to agree! Their stage presence and performance was one for the books.

Fit For An Autopsy & Hatebreed went on soon after and kept the night rocking. With crowd surfers and all. It made the pit very lively to be a part of for the 3 songs I was in there for. Having to stay vigilant because of how many crowd surfers were coming over the barriers made this one of the most memorable portions of the night. Hatebreed brought the energy keeping the fans going throughout the night. Shoutout to Wayne Lozinak for the guitar pick from the show! After the show I personally went and added some songs off their new album “Weight Of The False Self” to keep living this night over and over again.

Finally came time for Killswitch Engage to take the stage. The fans still had so much more energy to end the night with. I was able to chat with some longtime fans of the band who shared how much they meant to them and how excited they had been for this night. From the very first note, Killswitch Engage had the roars of the crowd. This had been one of the MOST lively shows I had attended in a long time. They absolutely rocked it - for anyone needing a great metalcore band to listen to, this one is for you.
